Welcome to Module 3: Urban Gardening – Set up!

This module aims to introduce the learner to the principles and the basics of planning a project and setting up an urban garden. The module will focus on:

  • Different types and benefits of urban gardens
  • Key legal actions and common practices that must be followed in order to set up a new garden
  • Practical advice and tips&tricks for establishing / maintaining an urban garden
  • Resources needed (internal and external) to plan and create an urban garden
  • Importance of community involvement into urban gardening activities
  • Also, it will demonstrate how this knowledge can be transferred and used while working with youth
